Biobone TCP is a porous synthetic ceramic, based in Tricalcium Phosphate (b-TCP). The TCP component, resorbs
quickly and allows the ceramic to have properties which facilitate excellent osteointegration.
Biobone TCP is designed for the filling and regeneration of bone defects or for the increase of volume for the
bone defects that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bone structure. When place in the implantation site,
the cell adhesion begins to occur on the surface of the pore and continues to growth, and the interconnectivity
porosity favors the mineralization of the extra cellular matrix.
Biobone TCP is highly bioactive, stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts, allowing a
total replacement by new vital bone during the healing process,within 1-6 months
